Ms. M.S. Harris: Hello and welcome to our classroom blog. I am Ms. Harris your instructor/facilitator. I am a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the University of Phoenix with a Master's Degree in Education/Curriculum and Instruction.

Welcome to Seventh Grade English Language Arts!!

On this blog you will have access to all of the wonderful things that will be taking place in our class.
For instance, if you forgot what you had for homework this blog or my teacher home page can be used for friendly reminders.
On a daily basis we will complegte the following:
*Read independently for 15 minutes (Sustained Silent Reading)
*Journal writing (Writer's Craft)
*Daily Language Practice (This will be used to strengthen your grammar and usage.)
*Literacy strategy and vocabulary

In addition to the above we will also have unit projects, iLeap practice, creative thinking activities, notetaking, and computer activities.
